How do you colour yours?

We have an advert on the TV for Cream Eggs where Austin Powers asks "how do you eat yours?"

SO I ask How do you colour yours? Are you  Pro Markers or Copics, maybe you use pencils, prisma or watercolour? Whatever you use are you happy with the outcome or still trying to get the right look for you image?

Our DT have their Mangas and I thought it would be nice to show you how they have done theirs as you wait for yours to arrive in the post. The top three are from Donalda, beautiful work and such lovely colour combos.

And these amazing cards are from Dena, they look great in red and black.
Remember to vist  our DT to see more great creations using sweet stamps.

Now I am off to hunt  for some more Manga creations as those who attended the Papercrafts May Demo also have some to play with, I just need to skip my way through blog land to find them, always keeping my eyes open for any Sugar Nellie creations that I spot along the way.

Beautiful cards by both DT members. I colour with copics or pro markers and also use watercolour pencils. Still trying to find what best suits me. Hope you have had a great weekend.

I'm a ProMarker girl all the way. I love the pens but definitely feel that the more you have the better your shading can be (just an excuse to buy more really!). x

Have just started using Copics - can't wait to start trying them out with Manga images. Funnily enough I've just done my Sugar Bowl entry with an explanation about my battles with colouring.

Meant to say how much I gain from the examples you show - these are rather special. Thank you for all your hard work & that of your design teams.

Gorgeous cards! :) I love them all xx
I use pro-markers, and find them quick and easy, and am slowly building up my collection. I do have water-colours, both pens and pencils, but struggle to get enough 'impact' if I need a bold, strong image. Pro markers allow you to go over with the same colour to achieve a darker shade, so that makes it easy for me.

I start with copics, and use those for all the flesh tones, then I use carisma pencils and sansoder to blend to get extra tone and depth to the shading that I find difficult with copics alone.

I have recently started crafting again and then promptly broke both hands! I use watercolours but I am having trouble getting hold of the watercolour paper I want to use so the results aren't to my satisfaction. I don't have any copics or promarkers but I did try using distress inks and was quite pleased with my 1st attempt and limited palate (I only have 5 distress inks so far!)>

I have wide range of colouring mediums that I use. It depends on what image i want to colour in. I always seem to colour Daisy with my prismacolor pencils, however have watercoloured her too and was very pleased with the results. I have a fabulous stock of Promarkers now too so will be using them when I get back into my crafting. Anyway coloring I use ~ Prismacolor pencils, Caran D'ache supracolor watercolour pencils, H20s, Promarkers, and I have a few copics too and to be honest I LOVE them all :D Bit of a Dolly Mixture I am :D Hugs Ali x

I'm totally in love with my Tombow Dual Brush markers :) And I like the watercolor effect I get with them! :)
I tried various other colour mediums but these are my favourites until now

I use ProMarkers now. I think they've transformed my colouring! I still look at others' work and am in awe at their colouring skills.
