Money well spent

Magazines in the UK are very unlike those elsewhere. But for a variety of work for the more adventurist of stampers there is no question, Craft Stamper is the best UK magazine.

We have a good relationship with the folks over at CS, you will often find features with our stamps, sometimes it is something we are involved in, other times its their DT that choose to use Sugar Nellie with out us knowing :)

But we did know that Marlene has a gorjuss feature in the latest issue out now, but I have not seen it yet!

Judy worked with Mary Hall stamps in the last issue, more details on Judy's blog here:
http://judyscraftymoments.blogspot.com/2009/04/published.html

and there are more exciting features due over the next few months.

A day full of lovely visitors in the House of Sugar, lots of cake and coffee, not much work got done but then again the delivery of rubber did not appear as expected. All the more to arrive next week!

Marlene's feature is really fab-I didn't actually see it was her initially but I immediately recognised her work-I think it's fab when people have their own signature. I agree, craft stamper is the best mag out there, all the work is very inspiring and the free stamp isn't tat like with some of the other mags. I spied that you've designed the free stamp for next month too:) Love Rowena

I dont normally have that mag, but may have to pop to Hobbycraft or WHsmith to pick up a copy now. Thought you may like to know I have done a card & tag for a commission in Cardmaking & Papercraft using one of your gorjuss girls. Will be published in Issue 68.

I can't wait for that owl stamp next month. Craft Stamper is a great magazine and Marlene's articles have been amazing.

Sometimes they go a bit too arty in the mag though - wish they would keep a good mix, but hey you can't have everything.

I have only just started reading this mag but boy do I love it! The sugar nellie cards in this months mag are fab! I have even made a vintage baby card with your very own Baby Millie stamp after I was inspired by an article by Kim Costello in this months mag. I have just uploaded this card to my blog if you would like to have a look. I can't wait to get the cute little sugar nellie owl that comes free with next months mag!

Enjoy your weekend!

Though the Sugar nellie DT articles are gorgsous I'm definately not a fan of this magazine. It's far too way out-I really long for a mainstream stamping magazine in the UK. In the meantime I get US mags-absolutely the best there are. It's a shame about Craft Stamper but I know I'm not alone-it's much discussed on forums and it seems most stampers don't find it reflects our interests-I don't want to make weird stuff out of old loo rolls and coathangers and live in hope that this huge gap in the market will soon be filled.
